Cheats & hacks

Cheats, hacks and Cheat Engine

Short answer: Azeroth Survivors has no cheat codes, no cheat console, and it refuses edited saves. What it does have are built-in ways to get strong fast, and most players never use all of them.

Are there cheats in Azeroth Survivors?

  • No cheat codes, no console. There is nothing to type in to unlock classes, zones or gold.
  • Edited saves are refused. Import a save that was changed by hand and the game says: "That save file is damaged or was edited, and cannot be read."
  • Addons are not cheats. The addon API is read-only: addons can show the run, not change it. See addons.

Cheat Engine, tables and trainers

Searches for an Azeroth Survivors cheat table or trainer are common. We do not test or publish memory edits, and nothing official exists. Anything you find is an unofficial download, and files that promise cheats are a favourite way to spread malware: the same red flag as a fake copy of the game. Check how to spot fake downloads first.

If you experiment anyway, use Export Save in Options → Saves before you start, so you can import your progress again. Importing a save replaces all of your progress with the one in the file.

Built-in shortcuts that work like cheats

The game already gives you these. Stack them and early runs get much easier.

Pick a strong, easy class

Some classes carry a new player much further than others. Start with the top of the tier list and a ready-made build.

Bank talent experience

Every run pays talent experience, won or lost, and respecs are free. A class behind your best one earns bonus experience, so alts catch up. See talents.

Farm easy achievements

Achievement points buy account perks for every class: more free rerolls, banishing a card, and Opening Hand, which deals four cards at your first level-up. See perks.

Stack luck

Luck gives better odds of rarer upgrades when you level up, and rarity decides how strong a card is. Gnomes get +20% luck. See what luck does.

Use your rerolls

Press R to deal a new hand. Each run starts with a few free rerolls; after that a reroll costs gold.

Turn up the difficulty

A harder horde pays more talent experience and better odds of boss loot, up to a cap. Past the cap the run only gets harder.

FAQ

Are there cheat codes for Azeroth Survivors?

No. The game has no cheat codes and no cheat console, alone or in co-op.

Does Cheat Engine work on Azeroth Survivors?

We do not test or publish Cheat Engine tables or trainers. They are unofficial downloads, and programs that promise cheats are a common way to spread malware, so treat any of them like an unknown program. See red flags.

Can I edit my save file?

No. If you import a save that was changed by hand, the game refuses it with the message "That save file is damaged or was edited, and cannot be read." Use Export Save in Options → Saves before you experiment with anything.

Do addons count as cheats?

No. The addon API is read-only: addons can read the run and redraw the HUD, but nothing an addon does changes the run itself. See the addons guide.

Is there a way to get infinite gold?

No. Gold drops from the horde and is spent on rerolls and on opening caches. Companions from the Rewards tab help you collect coins beyond your pickup range.

What is the fastest way to level talents?

Every run pays talent experience to the class you played, based on time survived, kills, bosses, a win and how hard the zone was. Raising the difficulty in the Run Options adds more, up to a cap, and a class that is behind your best one earns bonus experience.
