Codex jewelry vs Armory gear
Azeroth Survivors splits items into two systems: in-run jewelry (rings, trinkets and amulets tracked in the Codex) and between-run Armory gear (persistent class armor sets and weapons dropped by zone bosses).
In-run · Codex
Rings, Trinkets & Amulets
- Where they drop: Slaying elites, defeating zone guardians, and opening gold battleground caches during a run.
- Rings & Trinkets (Rank 1–5): Each takes a ring or trinket slot and stacks up to 5 ranks. Picking the same jewel again adds nearly the new pick’s full value.
- Rarity scaling: A jewel’s value scales with the card rarity you roll: Common 1.0×, Uncommon 1.4×, Rare 1.8×, Epic 2.4×, Legendary 3.2×.
- Amulets (1 slot): Takes the single amulet slot. Shared amulets work on every class; Legendary spell amulets remake one spell your hero already knows.
Between runs · Armory
Class Sets, Weapons & Looks
- Where they drop: Bosses drop persistent gear for the class you are playing. Each zone drops a fixed rarity tier from Common to Legendary (plus PvP sets in battleground zones).
- 10 equippable slots: Head, Shoulder, Back, Chest, Wrist, Hands, Waist, Legs, Feet, and Weapon (Main Hand / Off Hand / Ranged).
- Worn vs Look (Transmog): Right-click a piece in the Armory to equip it for its stats (marked
E), orShift+Right-clickto show its appearance as your Look (markedL). - Account-wide collection: Cosmetics and tabards earned from achievements can be worn as a Look by every hero of every class.

Items & Codex FAQ
How do you get rings, trinkets and amulets in Azeroth Survivors?
During a run, slaying elites, defeating zone guardians, or opening battleground caches with gold offers a choice of a ring, a trinket, or an amulet. Every ring, trinket and amulet offered on any hero is recorded in your account-wide Codex tab inside the Armory.
What are the best trinkets and rings in Azeroth Survivors?
For almost every build, the strongest rings are Band of Accuria (+17% damage per pick) and Quick Strike Ring (-9% cooldowns per pick), and the strongest trinkets are Hand of Justice (6% chance for a spell to cast twice per pick) and Earthstrike (+13% damage per pick). Tank-scaling specs (Protection Warrior, Voidwalker Warlock, Bear Druid) also prioritize Archimtiros’ Ring of Reckoning and Star of Mystaria.
What does Mark of the Chosen (Luck) do?
Mark of the Chosen grants +15% luck (base per pick), and Pristine Enchanted South Seas Kelp grants +30% luck. In the game’s own words, Luck gives you “better odds of rarer upgrades when you level up”—meaning more Rare, Epic and Legendary spell and jewelry picks over the course of a run.
How do Legendary spell-remaking amulets work?
Your hero has 1 amulet slot per run. Most amulets (all 16 shared amulets, including Onyxia Tooth Pendant and Choker of the Fire Lord) can appear for any class. However, rolling a Legendary amulet can also offer a class-specific amulet (such as Medallion of the Bladestorm or The Legionlord’s Medallion) that remakes one specific spell your hero already knows in that run.
How does Armory gear and transmog (Look) work?
Zone bosses drop persistent armor pieces and weapons for the class you are playing. Each zone drops a specific rarity tier, and each piece rolls independently (duplicates add nothing). In the Armory, Right-click a collected piece to equip it for its stat bonuses, or Shift+Right-click to show it as your hero’s visual Look (transmog) while keeping your strongest piece worn underneath. Account-wide vanity items (like the Admiral's Hat, Whitemane's Chapeau, Defias Bandana, and Contest Winner's Tabard) are unlocked via Co-op achievements and Feats, and equipped on the Rewards tab without taking up gear stat slots.
What is the damage reduction cap in Azeroth Survivors?
Damage reduction from Armor, rings (Archimtiros’ Ring of Reckoning), trinkets (Star of Mystaria), amulets and talents caps at 60% by default. Taking the Warrior Protection capstone Titan raises your damage reduction cap to 70%.
